Guinea Pig Accommodation, Spa's and Bonding
Boarding information
All of our 23 hutches are indoors (safe from any predators). We DO NOT have any outdoor hutches, so we do not leave any animal outdoors overnight. We have a selection of hutches available to suit your requirements; please see our accommodation below.
We are dedicated to giving each guinea pig all the special care and attention that they deserve. From spa days, where your guinea pig can have a bath, nail trim and health check, to special care for guinea pigs who need medication for non-contagious illnesses.
All hutches are cleaned out regularly, water bottles are changed every morning and evening, any uneaten food is thrown away, and fresh is supplied.
Our hutches are washed, dried and disinfected after each use to ensure they are clean and disease-free. All hutches are checked daily for any damage or repairs that may be required.
Whats Included
We supply everything your Guinea Pig needs while staying with us.

We recommend bringing their own toys as they have their own scent and this can help them settle in faster. Items such as their own beds can help them feel more at ease in a new surrounding.
We do have a shop where we sell food, bedding, toys and forage etc, if you wish to buy them new for their stay or return home.
Guinea Pig Spa's
We currently offer spa days for that extra special pamper during any of their holidays.
Spa days are from £15 for a short-haired piggy to £20 for a long-haired guinea pig.
We also run spa days on Wednesdays only during term time only for non-boarders. You drop off your guinea pig(s) in the morning, we will pamper them and get them ready for teatime collection.
Guinea Pig Accommodation
Cottages
Our cottages are custom-made by us.
These are our 4 ft x 2 ft wide single-storey hutches. These are suitable for a single or 2 already bonded guinea pigs.
We have 6 cottages in our summer house.
We also have 3 in the indoor piggery, which link to a smaller 3 ft hutch. They have a pophole into the other side, almost like a double hutch.
Our cottages cannot be fleece-lined.
Lodges
Our lodges are custom-made hutches made by us.
These are the larger 5ft long x 2ft wide single-storey hutches.
These hutches are suitable for 2-4 already bonded guinea pigs due to their size and space to run around.
These can be set up to be completely fleece-lined if you prefer. This is an extra charge of £2 per day.
The Deluxe Piggie Popcorn Palace
The Palace is our deluxe accommodation. (Three floors, all 5 ft x 2 ft wide each)
This hutch comes completely fleece-lined on all three levels, including the ramps.
At the top is the bedroom, complete with fleece beds. Next to this is a landing with the perfect viewing spot on a sofa bed.
A ramp then leads to a middle level (which is a play floor) with toys and treats, and then another ramp leads to the bottom food floor (dining room) where the hay, forage, veg and nuggets will be available.
All guinea pigs love the Palace and it is very popular with our guests. Let your guinea pigs feel special while you are away.
Outdoor Play
At the piggery the guinea pigs are allowed to play outside in their own runs when the weather permits and if you wish it.
Each run has a secure lid to make it safe from any predators and a shade cover if it is sunny. They will only be allowed to play outside in their own run, with their already bonded companion.
Guests can see each other from afar only.
Bonding
If you are currently boarding with us and your guinea pig has recently lost his/her companion and you have adopted a new friend but now have 2 separate hutches, from time to time we are able to bond piggies together to become new friends.
We cannot guarantee we are able to with every pairing, as it does come down to the personality of each guinea pig, but we can try; we have had many successful attempts.
