Guinea Pig Accommodation, Spa's and Bonding
Boarding information
All of our 23 hutches are indoors (safe from any predators). We DO NOT have any outdoor hutches, so we do not leave any animal outdoors overnight. We have a selection of hutches available to suit your requirements; please see our accommodation below.
We are dedicated to giving each guinea pig all the special care and attention that they deserve. From spa days, where your guinea pig can have a bath, nail trim and health check, to special care for guinea pigs who need medication for non-contagious illnesses.
All hutches are cleaned out regularly, water bottles are changed every morning and evening, any uneaten food is thrown away, and fresh is supplied.
Our hutches are washed, dried and disinfected after each use to ensure they are clean and disease-free. All hutches are checked daily for any damage or repairs that may be required.
Whats Included
We supply everything your Guinea Pig needs while staying with us.

We recommend bringing their own toys as they have their own scent and this can help them settle in faster. Items such as their own beds can help them feel more at ease in a new surrounding.
We do have a shop where we sell food, bedding, toys and forage etc, if you wish to buy them new for their stay or return home.
Guinea Pig Spa's
We currently offer spa days for that extra special pamper during any of their holidays.
Spa days are from £15 for a short-haired piggy to £20 for a long-haired guinea pig.
We also run spa days on Wednesdays only during term time only for non-boarders. You drop off your guinea pig(s) in the morning, we will pamper them and get them ready for teatime collection.
Guinea Pig Accommodation
Cottages
Our cottages are all handmade by us.
Each one is a 4ft x 2ft single story hutch, perfect for any single guinea pigs or a pair that are already bonded.
We currently have six cottages in our summer house, plus three more in the indoor
piggery. The indoor ones connect to a smaller 3ft hutch with a pothole giving them a cosy double-hutch style layout.
Just a little note; our indoor cottages can not be fleece lined. Only the ones in the summer house can.
Lodges
Our lodges are spacious, custom-made hutches that we built ourselves the same as the cottages.
Each Lodge measures 5ft long x 2ft wide and are designed as a single-storey space with plenty of room to popcorn.
These Lodges are suitable for 2-4 guinea pigs who are already bonded, giving them a comfortable amount of space to run around.
If you or your piggies like a softer set up, the Lodges can be fully fleece-lined and includes a warm cosy bed to snuggle. (Fleece is available for an extra £2 per day)
The Deluxe Lodges
The Deluxe Lodges are our newest addition and have taken the place of the original popcorn palace. They're created by joining two of our standard lodges together, with a pophole between them so piggies can move freely from one side to the other. This extra space makes them a lovely option for any guinea pigs who enjoy to roam, and they're especially suitable for small herds of 4 or more guinea pigs.
Each Deluxe Lodge measures 10ft by 2ft wide, giving plenty of space for exploring and relaxing. You can choose between woodshavings or completely fleece lined.
The Deluxe Lodges are £16 per day.
(Fleece lining is available for an additional £4 per day.)
Outdoor Play
At the piggery, Guinea Pigs can enjoy time outdoors in their own secure runs whenever the weather is suitable and if you'd like them to. Each run has a sturdy lid to keep them safe from predators, along with a shaded area to protect them on sunny days.
They'll only ever go out with their already bonded companion, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident while exploring.
While they're outside, guests can see one another from a distance ONLY, so every Guinea pig can enjoy playtime without any stress.
Bonding
If you are currently boarding with us and your guinea pig has recently lost his/her companion and you have adopted a new friend but now have 2 separate hutches, from time to time we are able to bond piggies together to become new friends.
We cannot guarantee we are able to with every pairing, as it does come down to the personality of each guinea pig, but we can try; we have had many successful attempts.
