Questions frequently asked about Our Booking system

How do I book?

To make a booking online, log into our online booking system. This can be found at the top of our Facebook page ( Use App)  or on our Webpage-How to Book. We are asking people to make all your bookings via this way in the future, if possible, but we are always on the end of a phone call or email if you can’t so this way and if you find it too difficult or you are not computer savy.

If this is your first time using the app, All you need to do is sign in with your email address, create a password and you are ready to go!

When you log into our booking software for the first time, please fill out all of your details, emergency details, pets details and sign the T&C’s.  Your account is all ready for you to use!   You can make a booking, cancel and alter an existing booking, add your pets details, photo’s, vet’s details and create their own little portfolio .

The booking page doesn’t let you see our diary unfortunately, but it does tell you our availability if you add your new dates. Please note; We are closed Sundays, so the software will always say not available if you put in a Sundays date.

Once you have made a booking with us, You will get automatic emails and reminders of your stay and when your payments are due.

These are normally

7 days before your stay; Includes holiday reminder, arrival form, Rabbit vaccination reminder

2 days before your stay:  Travel info, parking, arrival form reminder. What to bring etc

Why do I need to fill out an Arrival Form?

Arrival forms, are sent our in our reminder email 7 days before your stay. They help us to set up your pets accommodation ready for their stay, so we can settle your pets in a soon as possible upon their arrival at the Piggery.

Please fill out your arrival forms and do so honestly, it’s for safety & not to be judged. I’ve had occasions where the form tells me the guinea pigs have been going on grass for 2 hrs every day but then when I confirm at check-in. it turns out that was 6 months ago and not recently which can cause guinea's to get bloat and be extremely poorly.

Questions are asked for a reason - so we can look after your pets properly, false information can cause your pets harm, please be honest.

Is it right you send out a monthly newsletter?

1- Please bring your Vaccination Card for your Rabbit. You will be refused entry if you do not have it with you when you arrive.
2- Also, if you would like to bring a small bag of the hay they are used to eating at home, we find that this helps them to transition into eating ours a lot better. Just a small one.

What you don't need to bring...

You do not need to bring bowls or bottles as we have plenty here. We have lots of hay and vegetables too (although some people bring the contents of their vegetable draw if all the family is going away - to save it from going to waste.)

Please bring ALL pets in a proper carrier.

A cat carrier is ideal or any purpose sold pet carrier. You can leave your carriers here, I will put your name on them and will clean them out ready for your departure.
