Well, what a crazy world we are living in today!!. I just wanted to update you all regarding the Piggery and the effect the Coronavirus Pandemic is having on us here.
Holidays booked before or between 23rd March and 1st October 2020.
Any holidays that were cancelled due to Coronavirus Covid-19 will not lose the deposits. These deposits will be held on your account and taken off your next holiday with us.
Holiday booked between 1st October 2020 - 1st July 2021
If you booked your stay with us between these dates, you can amend your booking at any time up to 7 days before your check-in date and simply transfer your deposit to the new booking (subject to date availability). If you cancel your booking within 7 days before your stay, you will lose your deposit, as this space could have been taken up by another guest.
For All bookings made after 1st July 2021
Deposit are non-fundable and non- transferable. Any overseas travel is at owners risk of cancellation and we recommend that travel insurance is taken out to cover the loss of any deposits.
When should I let you know we are cancelling my booking?
Let us know as soon as you can and at least 7 days before your booking, or you will be liable for the full amount if you cancel within the 7 days of your arrival.
Can I claim my deposit back through my holiday insurance policy?
Some people may be able to claim this back from your insurance company, so If you need an invoice to send to your insurance let us know and I can email it out to you.
Should I cancel my booking, as I don't know what to do yet as my holiday is later on in the year?
If you have already booked with us and paid your deposit, then don't cancel until you know for definite that you are not going away. Your balance does not need to be paid until 7 days before you go, so if there is a chance you may book another holiday( maybe closer to home) somewhere else for the same dates, so our advise is to leave your booking with us until you know for sure.
I hope this helps with some of your questions. It is a very difficult time for us as we are both self-employed but we hope you can please bear with us to help us stay in business.
Many thanks, Sharon
